About Us

Ride Your Trike NZ is a proudly disabled-led business based in New Zealand. We provide quality adaptive bikes, e-bikes, and accessories with a personal, community-focused approach.

Terms of Service

By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. If you disagree, please do not use our site.

 

 

Refund & Return Policy

30-Day Return Period

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your item.

To be eligible:

  • The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original packaging

  • You must have your order confirmation or proof of purchase

To begin a return, email admin@rideyourtrikenz.co.nz
 Returns must be approved before sending. If approved, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions.

Note: Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty or sent in error.

 

 

Used/Second-Hand Items

Used or second-hand trikes and equipment are not eligible for refunds. These items are final sale and sold as-is.

 

 

Faulty or Damaged Items

We comply with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If your item is faulty or damaged, we’ll offer a refund or replacement.

Email us with your order number and clear photos of the issue.

 

 

Items Damaged in Transit

Keep all packaging and contents, and contact admin@rideyourtrikenz.co.nz immediately. We'll help sort it out.

 

 

Exchanges & Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds for a change of mind or incorrect sizing. We may offer an exchange or store credit if:

  • The item is unused and in new condition

  • Returned within 30 days

  • It is not a used, custom, personalised, sale, or clearance item

Customer covers return postage in these cases.

 

 

Shipping Policy

Orders are dispatched within 3-5 business days.

Need it faster? Email us with the subject:
 “URGENT – Order #[Your Order Number]”

We’ll try to help, though it's not guaranteed.

As a small disabled-led team, there may be occasional dispatch delays. We appreciate your patience.

 

 

Secure Shopping

We use encrypted and secure platforms to process your payment and store data safely.

 

 

Order Cancellation

Once confirmed, orders cannot be cancelled or modified.
 Please double-check your order before placing it.

We may cancel any order if necessary to protect our customers or business.

We aim to provide accurate information but can’t guarantee perfection.
 We are not liable for indirect or special damages.
 These terms are governed by New Zealand law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of NZ courts.
